Multiple Teams · Cross Country takes 1st place


Today the Capac Varsity and Jv cross country teams competed in the Bad Axe Hatchet Invitational. The Boys team took a first place finish for the second week in a row. Ryan Najor paced Capac with a 5th place finish with a time of 17:47. Nick Geliske placed 10th with a time of 18:05. Jordan Maday was 14th 18:30. Wes Deiner was 17th with a time of 18:41. Paul Livermore was 24th with a time of 19:11. Thomas Wheeler was 25th with a time of 19:15. Jake Frangedakis was 30th 19:43. Erik Sermo was 39th 20:29, Jeff Opificius was 47th 21:31, Ian Rennie 53rd 22:04, Spencer Malburg 54th 22:09, Pete Szpaichler was 58th 23:13, Tyler Saez 62nd 23:48, Ryan Coltson 64th 24:05, Dylan Wojie 66 with a time of 24:52,Joey Parzynski 69th 29:05, and Dakota Brecht 70th 30:30
The girls took 7th place as a team. The girls finished with 183 points. They were led by Ashley Rowley 9th place with a time of21:36. AnnMarie Mailloux 46th place 25:48. Dyman Huss 47th place 25:55. Aliashah Warnez 26:02 and Arielle Dueweke 49th place 26:33.

So far the CAPAC CROSS COUNTRY TEAM has won two trophies and 20 medals this season!
